Local Rangatahi Achieving Their Goals

Over the past 12 months, we've had the privilege of spending 345 hours working alongside some of our most at risk local children and youth. Included in these hours was counselling, advocacy with parents and schools, home visits, and collaboration with other local agencies who also want the best for our young people.

Goal setting was a really important part of the journey for the rangatahi who were involved in this project, and the results are quite simply amazing.

Over the past 12 months, these brave and wonderful young people achieved 190 of the 274 goals they have set for themselves. This is staggering achievement for our young people, especially considering that many of them were referred to us for “failing” to cope, or “failing” to follow the rules at home or at school.

Our rangatahi service relies on the generous support of philanthropic funders, and community donations. You can stand behind and support this project and others by becoming a Kindred Spirit.
