Born in Texas, Christine’s passion for food started at an early age. She taught herself to cook vegan food in a part of America where the cuisine is centred around meat and dairy. She moved to Portland, Oregon and later New York City where she worked managing restaurants. She met her husband working in a NYC restaurant together and he swept her away to New Zealand 5 years ago. Christine lives in Helensville with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of plant based cuisine with her wonderful community.
